Fundwise
Fundwise is the first equity crowdfunding platform in Estonia.
Fundwise is focusing its operations on the Baltic Sea Region, helping small enterprises in the region to find investors.
Investments start at 100 euros; in return, the investor will receive an equity stake in the enterprise. The investor will transfer their investment to an account created specifically for the duration of the campaign, but the campaigning enterprise can only gain access once the campaign has closed successfully. Should the campaign be unsuccessful in raising the required amount, the funds will be returned to the investor. In addition to the funds, the enterprise will also gain the investor’s know-how and network connections – which is perhaps even more important for taking their enterprise to the next stage.
